Toddler words

Little C is smitten by a girl at school. They always play together, give each other lots of hugs and always talk about one another at home. Her name is Abby.

This morning at school, here is a replay of the conversation between Little C and me.

Little C (Pointing to the name on his locker) - Little C Craig (actually used is whole name)
Me - yes, that is right. This is your locker.
Little C (Pointing at the name on the locker next to his) - Abby ????
Me - Abby Boucher. That is Abby's name.
Little C - Abby Boucher, no mommy, Abby Craig

Four years old seems a little young to start planning a wedding!

A good laugh

This morning Princess Bean took dressing to the next level....
Earlier this week, Princess Bean decided that her bathing suit would make a good outfit. I had to convince her that jeans first would be a good idea. Here she is talking on her banana phone getting ready for school (yes we let her go to school in her bathing suit! and yes it was about 0F outside).

Then today she wasn't really interested in getting dressed in anything but her diaper. Okay fine.... Then she saw a pile of Angel Baby's clothes and decided that her overalls would suit her taste for the day just great. What a hoot....

Olive lover

We often have make your own pizza night - it is a favourite in our house!

As we make the pizzas, Princess bean gets her bowl of olives which she places on her fingers and then eats. Before dinner, she will eat a whole bowl full. Last week daddy complained that there were not enough olives left for his pizza!

A snowy Christmas Day

What a joy to play outside. Living in the Frozen Tundra we are use to seeing the snow from inside with only sipets of time outside before our noses freeze. This Christmas was different. Temperatures were fairly mild giving us a chance to build snow forts, throw snow balls and sled in our street! What fun.
